This vintage Art Deco brown silk ribbon bow beaded flapper dress gown dates from the 1920s. It is made of a brown silk fabric, with contrasting bronze hand bead work done in an Art Deco zigzagging pattern and ribbon bow design. This fabulous flapper dress is loose fitting, with a shift drop waist style, squared front neckline, brown sheer silk chiffon flowing uneven handkerchief hemmed sleeve cuffs and snap closures. It is fully lined, with a constructed slip dress sewn inside underneath and hook closures inside. The dress is a large size measuring 52 inches long, with 46 inch hips, waist, bust and a 16 inch back. It is in good condition, with several loose missing beads and faint underarm discoloration. This is a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco beaded textile art!
