This vintage pink pastel silk embroidered floral fringe piano shawl dates from the 1920s. It is made of a pale pink fine silk fabric background, with machine made raised padded satin stitch embroidery work done in a silky glossy pastel floral vine leaf pattern design. There is a hand knotted pink silk fringe which measures 16 inches long surrounding the entire shawl. The shawls fabric square measures 52 by 52 inches. It is in good condition, with only a few faint water spot stains and a small frayed rip near the edging (see close-up). This beautiful bohemian Art Deco Spanish Flamenco style shawl is a wonderful piece of wearable textile art!
