This vintage amazing Art Deco black velvet jet beaded drop waist tunic flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a black velvet fabric, with black jet bead work done in an Art Deco pattern design. This fabulous flapper style loose fitting drop waist tunic dress has an open slit front which would have been worn over a slip dress, sheer silk chiffon beaded long full flared bell shape sleeves and a rounded scoop neckline. The dress is a large size measuring 42 inches long, with 44 inch hips, a 38 inch waist and 44 inch bust. It is in good wearable condition, with only a few missing loose beads and a small repair and hole on the back neck (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of Art Deco wearable textile art and would be great for design too!
