1930s Vintage Peach Silk Embroidered Pajamas Lounge Set 4 Piece Robe & Purse
This vintage peach silk embroidered pajamas lounge set robe and purse dates from the 1930s. It is made of a pastel peach color fine silk fabric, with varying shades of peach to orange silk raised padded satin stitch embroidery work of spider chrysanthemum flowers. Included in this four piece lingerie lounging set is a matching embroidered robe, top, pants and purse. The kimono robe style coat jacket has an open front, with no closure, is a long mid length, with long full sleeves and measures 34 inches long, with 40 inch hips, waist and bust. There is a sleeveless shirt top blouse, with a pullover style, V front neckline and heart shaped pockets sewn onto the bottom front. The top measures 25 inches long, with a 42 inch waist and 36 inch bust. There are matching loose fitting pants, with flared, pleated, scalloped bell bottom cuffs and a V front top side button closure waistband. The pants measure 42 inches long, with a 26 inch inseam, 40 inch hips, a 30 inch waist and 46 inch in circumference cuffs. There is a matching pouch purse bag in which the pj set would have come in and measures 9 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches. This lovely lounging pajama set is in good condition, with only one button missing off the pants waistband. It is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Oriental Asian art which could easily be worn out today
