This exquisite antique Edwardian era pink cotton french knot soutache walking suit jacket, top and skirt dates from 1915. It is made of a pastel pink cotton fabric, with french knot embroidery work, soutache work and net applique trim inserts done in a geometric diamond design and abstract butterfly four leaf clover pattern. This stunning summer three piece walking suit includes a short cropped camisole top tunic sleeveless vest overlay with wide open arm holes. The top measures 14 inches long, with a 32 inch bust. There is a matching loose fitting mid length coat jacket with a knotted toggle front closure and 3/4 length flared full sleeves. The jacket measures 29 inches long, with 34 inch hips, a 26 inch waist, 32 inch bust and 13 inch back. There is a long floor length full skirt, with a pleated waist and back closures. The skirt measures 39 inches long, with a 5 inch hem, 40 inch hips and a 22 inch waist. It is in good condition, with only some fraying along the bottom top. This is truly an extraordinary piece of wearable antique textile art!
