This antique Edwardian era mint green wool black velvet white lace trim winter traveling coat dates from 1910. It is made of a pastel light mint green color fine soft wool fabric, with black velvet and white silk, lace trim accents. This wonderful winter traveling coat has a loose fitting, long floor length style, with a wide lapel collar, gathered shoulders, long full sleeves, wide rolled cuffs, a fitted back and open front with no closure. It is fully lined in silk, with an inside pocket and decorative trim along the front opening. The coat measures 45 inches long, with 45 inch hips, a 45 inch waist, 40 inch bust, 13 inch back and 25 inch long sleeves. It is in as-is fair condition, has not been cleaned, with some slight fade, discoloration and several areas of small moth nips and holes (see close-ups). This is truly a beautiful piece of wearable antique textile art! |
