This pair of antique Pradel Huet Paris label white silk ribbon tie straight sole shoes date from the 1830s. They are hand stitched and made of an off white cream color silk fabric and lined in linen, kid leather. These early women's shoes slipper style ballet flats have squared toes, original white silk ribbon tie lacings and straight leather flat bottom soles with no left or right distinction stamped on the bottom "Pradel-Huet A Paris 57". The shoes measure 9 inches long and 2 inches wide. They have been gently worn, with some small faint age spot. water stains and few tiny frays in the silk along the bottom edging. These delicate slippers were reserved for indoor wear, evening dress or special occasions. These are truly a rare and early find!
