This pair of antique Victorian era Lagel-Meier Paris purple aubergine leather bronze beaded shoes date from 1900. They are made of a brownish purple aubergine color leather, with bronze beading on the front instep vamps. These beautiful beaded evening shoes have brown silk grosgrain ribbon lacing across the instep vamp for closure, pointed toes and a low Louis XV French heel. They are embossed in gold lettering inside "Lagel-Meier 352 Rue St Honore Paris" label. The shoes measure 9 1/2 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, with a 1 1/2 inch high heel and are approximately a size 6 narrow width. They are in good condition and have been gently worn, with some minor scuffing. These are truly a rare color and quality made Parisian beaded shoe!
